The current car has 140K miles on it, and still runs like a watch. The Tundra has 124K miles on it, and I wouldn't hesitate to take it anywhere. In the meantime, I've gone 5 years without a car payment, and love the freedom. The two vehicles that actually run right now are our toyotas. One is an 86 4runner, the other a 96 tacoma. Both are old and look terrible. BUT, hubby can work on them... we don't have to take them in to get them fixed when something goes wrong. They both have very high miles but still run quite well! They aren't pretty, but they work and get us where we need to go. I'm ok with that as they are both paid for as well. No vehicle payments for us!
