Nice that the weather finally cooperated too. I was all set to go on a 50 mile bike adventure on Saturday afternoon....but things got a little screwed up and I suddenly wasn't in the mood....did manage a nice 7 mile sunset ride tonight....too bad the sunset was rather blah. Didn't even waste any shots on it.

There's an avatar fairy? Really? Is it blue, really tall and has a tail that it keeps playing with? ;)

Is there really? (an avatar fairy?) lol... I thought maybe he liked Jay's contribution so much that he decided to use it.. hahaha.. No idea there was an avatar fairy..

Ya gotta watch out for Jay - he's in tight with the avatar and title fairy. :-)

hmmmm... maybe we should be very afraid of Jay? Either that or we find good ways to bribe him to get the things we want...? What do we want anyway?

Saw Harm's avi. totally awesome.

:lol: hahaha... I almost spit out my hot tea, laughing when I saw it yesterday morning...

Nice sunny day today....took a drive in the country.

Camera was level.....the ground....not so much.

This is absolutely gorgeous! I love the fall colors and the scene... *sigh* I wish we had change of seasons here....

Glad you got out to shoot, hopefully it was good for a little mental escape. :)

POTN has a title fairy, an avatar fairy, a signature fairy, a location fairy, and I don't know what else. You really have to watch what you say around here sometimes...

Edit: And a post count fairy.

That sucks about your house, Wool. I hope the insurance company treats you right and get it rebuilt quickly.

The insurance company has done well......a courier arrived at the house in NC this morning....with checks in the value of the full amount of the policy. Certainly surprised to hear them being delivered on a Sunday. Now to see what the mortgage company, et al wish to do.

Good morning. Happy Monday.

Nice fall pics Dan. Also, I'm amazed that the insurance guys did you right so quickly. They are usually way slower.

Jay, your pics of flying things are fantastic as usual.

Good morning JJ. Happy Monday to you too. I'm off to the City for a meeting. Nothing like starting your day with a 2 hour bumper to bumper commute with all the other lemmings rushing into the City.

I think that the only positive side of this economic mess is that I no longer have to contend with traffic jams. It use to be that if I left the house anytime after 6:00am or left work after 4:00pm, I would have a mess of a commute. But so many have lost their jobs that even at the height of rush hour, we are still all moving at 40+ MPH with an occasional slow down. Heck, I left at 6:30 this morning and made my 40 mile commute in just a tad over 45 minutes.
