7D, Canon 10-22, handheld, shot 9/16 late in the day. That's Canada in the distance. Note to wildlife, don't seek refuge here - they allow hunting.

Very nice - you've got the whole sampler of cloud types in one shot!

Nicely done Rick. Was this just outside Bonner's Ferry? If so, you were close to my neck of the woods, just over the border in Creston BC. Oh, and I only shoot with my camera :), coming from the UK I've never been into the hunting thing.

Ray,

Thanks. Yes, it's about 5 mi outside BF. I used to bow hunt, gave it up 6 years ago. I got tired of killing things. I've been up to Creston a few times, beautiful country, nice people. If you're ever down this way (Sandpoint) and want to grab a coffee, drop me a PM. I don't work, so I'm available most of the time.

Love the pic.

Thought I would add that most U.S. national wildlife refugee's allow some level of hunting. But remember national wildlife refugee's and many other wild life lands are paid for by fee's and taxes paid by hunters.

That's beautiful! I usually don't care for B/W but I think it is perfect for this shot!

Great shot Rick. This is a prime example of why I love B&W. Frame that bad boy and hang it on the wall.

Really cool! I was up in Glacier last summer on vacation, and we decided to stop here on the way back to Spokane and went for a short hike. Very pleasant hike.

Lovely, Rick! And people wonder why I want to move out northwest that way! :P

Yes, I have severe Equipment Deficiency. No, the pills don't fix it.
