Sorry for the such a specific question. But anyone in SoCal have a print shop they love?

I've printed from Mpix before, but I prefer to have something I can see in person if possible.

In my area, Costco rocks! Post #10 & #18. Note that these are 2005 threads & I haven't had any problems with them in 6 years.

Do you upload via the net, or walk in with a memory card?

When you see my camera gear you'll think I'm a pro.
When you see my photos you'll know that I'm not.

I've got to agree with the Costco/Sam's Club suggestion. If you have one around and aren't near a reputable lab/shop, these places are exponentially better than any other chain (CVS, Walgreens, etc.). If you're into film, they consistently have the best chemistry and upkeep of their machines, not to mention the costs always end up being about half the price of the other chain stores or even some of the print places out there.

I've been going to my local Costco (always walk-ins) to get my prints done and negatives processed for years with more than adequate results each time. On the rare chances that I've had to use my 24-hr Walgreens that's a two minute walk from my place, it's been quite the mixed bag with some really bad outcomes at times.

From the link I posted, "...if I upload pic files at 1AM, I can pick up the prints at the local store in the morning."
