So, how do you MP-E guys do it?

I am not going to be the most helpful here as I have had the same problem in the last few weeks. On one shoot the plant on which the spider I was attempting to snap moved a distance of about 24 inches in the wind.

With the MPE set to 2x and a visible field of about 10 mm it seemed to be a bad time to be out

Another shoot in the same place, and I jumped a mile when the web was blown onto my hand and the spider was running to capture this massive intruder. It sure looked massive in the viewfinder!

haha, that sounded just like me, I was up some ladders having never used tubes before to get a picture of a spider, now I'm not keen on spiders and to say I made a girly scream might be an understatement. My wife thought it was very funny!
