CS5 Error Message When Saving

I finally (finally!) got my new iMac back after having all the data from my PC transferred over, and edited my first couple of images on it using my new CS5. But I keep getting this error message after the edited image has been saved - Could not export the clipboard because it is too big to export." I checked the destination folder and the edited image is saved, so what is the error message about? I flattened the images before saving, I should state.

I don't know why you're getting the error message have you tried google? What it suggests is you've copy and pasted a big image, and it wants to do something with the clipboard when you close the app.

To see if that's true copy a very small part of the image or some text inside Photoshop before you exit.

A mac person might have a better idea than me.

the clipboard has a maximum size it can copy into. It does not effect the file you are saving, just a warning telling you it will not be available for pasting outside of photoshop.

But pasting what? The action I applied, maybe?

It means pasting the image, which you copied (CMD-C) while in Photoshop.

In Preferences, you can turn off "Export Clipboard".

Ahh, I'm not a Mac user and it all sounds, well, strange, but Michelle this tip of Damien's sound like it might do the trick!

I wonder why a Mac would have this problem -- I've never seen it on a Windows machine and never heard about it from a Mac user, it seems like an out-of-the-blue thing, but I hope that Preferences thing works!
