A few of us POTN'ers met up over the weekend with 3 models to do a group trash the dress shoot. The idea was to start off slowly (we're all learning) with just a few almost 'bridal' shots and then get into properly trashing the dresses.

1. Alice on the hillside

2. Alice tilted

3. Group shot of our 3 models

We'd gone to an area known for graffiti to get a fun contrast and randomly picked up a couple of kids to help us out with the shots. They were more than happy to oblige

4. The trashing begins

5. The girls had a bit of fun with some squeezy bottles of kids paint

There will be more to follow shortly from Rob, Rich & Steve I'm sure :)

Steve bought them off of eBay to trash. It raises a good point though, we probably owe Steve a bit of cash. Steve?

I'll post mine when I can. I haven't even had time to look at a lot of them!

Thanks!

I forgot all about that until I was on my way home! I almost forgot about the model releases as well.. :o

I think I could have done with a few more "bridal" type shots to start with. That was a big site and we spent the whole afternoon within a few yards!

In case anybody is bothered, we didn't trash anybody's treasured dress that they were selling reluctantly to raise money for an operation (or anything like that!) I told the sellers it would be for a shoot beforehand and only bid on ones were they were happy about it! :)

Thanks for starting the seperate thread, here's a few from me;
ok here's a couple, I've gone a bit edgy with the PP posibly too far, but I'm going to sleep on them and process properly tomorrow:
The lovely Alice, Chelsea, and Shez before...

Then the graffiti started!

Then the paints came out:

And my take on that shot

Some more paint fighting :)

And another Finale image:

I would really appreciate your feedback on this type of PP, it's pretty gritty for me, but I feel it suits the subject.

Very, Very cool! You may think those dresses are trashed, but they may be worth a lot more now as wild party dresses!!

Were these processed as HDR'? They kinda have that feel to them, but not overly done. Great work!!

I love #4 the best. Great shot with the two painting her like she is a statue getting graffiti.

I didn't HDR any of mine, but I can't speak for what Rich did.

Here's a quick cinemagraph I did

I didn't HDR them, but went for a gritty look (a PP technique I saw in a Scott Kelby video)

It's looks a bit HDR but hopefully adds rather than detracts from the image.
