Okay thats my age showing digging up old Adam and the Ants lyrics, but what do you do when you want to shoot something but the weathers bad or its to dark and you can't be bothered to go out?

Just being nosy I guess but it could offer some inspiration.

Make yourself a lightbox, shoot some water drops.
If it's too dark and the skies are clear shoot the stars.

Desperate but not serious
The weather drives me delirious :):):)

Try some macro work - use your flash for a proper exposed object and a dark/black background. You have all the equipment you need...

Cheers

haha, nice teraflop :)

Pretty good ideas, I think macro may be order of the day, or perhaps try and get my son (1 yr old) to pose for a shot... hmn, maybe herding cats would be easier!

Soft light, dramatic clouds, reflections off the pavement...where do you suppose that bad weather images come from? ;)

Bad weather often makes for good photos. But I usually end up setting up a light box and practicing product photography. Or just chasing the cats around the house.

Turn out all the lights with your camera on a tripod in bulb mode... and use a flash, iPod, cellphone, etc and do some painting with light.

I have always considered indoor photography of nudes to be very creatively diverting!

Macro shooting
Get some flowers from the store and use the diffusion of light outside to light them through windows
Set up a water dropper station and play with that
Smoke shots
Go back through and re-review old shots to see what you might salvage that you didn't 'see' before
