When I do proofs and want 600 or 1000px images I usually use the photoshop image processor. Professional wedding photographer, solution architect and general technical guy with multiple Amazon Web Services certifications.

Only if I'm 100% sure that the files are intended for a certain use, and it makes a significant difference. I'm just trying to determine if the downsampling out of ACR would be better than PS. It looks like a little better file using ACR, but it's close. Does ACR in CS5 give you the option to specify a "custom" output size? My older version doesn't -- you have to pick from a list of "preset" sizes. This is where the Image Processor or an Export function would come in handy! Tony
