Hello All, do you know all the major or even not so major bag brands that are out there?

I know if a few for example :

Lowepro
Tamrac
Domke
Think Tank
Crumpler

The reason I ask, is I am trying to find a carry all equipment bag such as the lowepro commercial AW etc.

I have tried lowepro, tamrac and domke so far and have been pleased with lowepro domke. I am not so keen on Tamrac however.

If there are other brands worth looking into, please post them :)

Regards
Steve Pell

I swear by Domke. They used to get their backpacks from Kata, so I guess if I need something Domke doesn't cover I'll head for Kata.

I have the Kata R102 Backpack and I'm about to buy the HB-207. They are awesome packs.

I had a Lowepro Phototrekker AW for many years of hard use and the zipper finally started to separate. I contacted the Canadian distributor to see if they could repair or replace the zipper. They said to send it in and they would see what they could do.

I guess they couldn't repair it. They sent me a new bag of the much newer improved design with waterproof zippers. No charge for replacing the bag or shipping.

With service like that Lowepro have earned my attention when I neeed a new camera bag.

Scott

When I started with the DSLR, I was pretty sold on Tamrac. But a funny thing happened - I got one LowePro, then another, and another, and now I'm sort of a LowePro bigot. I'll consider another brand, but LowePro just seems to have the features I want. The Street & Field attachables have a lot to do with it, and some of the special bags they make are just what I'm after.

My 2 cents.

Have Fun,

Rick
