Macro tubes

A few from the weekend. I remembered I have a 2x and tried it with my macro tubes and 70 - 200. I thought it might be too much glass. But some turned out quite sharp.

Very nice set of images. I like the effects. Not sure what happened to the fly though, he looks like too much noise removal was used or something.

Thanks Bas - that one is a stack which overcomes the limitation of the 2x extender used for the Hoverfly.

Problem with the Hoverfly is the bokeh from the 2x and shallow depth of field. It's almost out of the camera that one (+39) sharpening in Lightroom and a dust spot removal. No noise reduction needed. Tried for a stack on the fly but he moved.
