Just wanted to let everyone know that Craft & Vision (external link) is having an e-Book sale during the launch of David duChemin's new e-book, The Inspired Eye 3 (external link).

The e-Books are usually $5 each with instant email delivery. Enter coupon code "EYETHREE4" at checkout to save $1 on your purchase. You can also use coupon code "EYETHREE20" to save 20% on 5 e-books or more from the entire Craft & Vision collection (external link). Sale ends September 24, 2011 at midnight PST.

I hope this sale helps someone pick up an e-book and learn more about photography. The few e-books I have purchased in the past have been great reads.

I agree. I bought a handful the last time they had a sale and I enjoyed every book. I think David's books are better than the other writers, but they are all informative.

I read the e-book this evening and wrote up a review of it on my blog, if anyone wants to see what others think about it before they purchase.

The Inspired Eye 3 is a nice conversation with David duChemin. The information is not technical but it is very informative and inspiring. More on my blog (external link)!

How many pages are David's e-books typically?

Even though the price is very reasonable I like to know this kind of thing before purchasing.

I have a few that are in the 60 page range. The inspired Eye 3 is about 35 pages with 3/4 full of text. Its a quick read but worth the $4.

Do you work at Craft & Vision? That blog is a large advertisement

(not to take away from the book - I still bought it)

I do not work for Craft & Vision but I am an affiliate. I don't think my blog is an advertisement. I have been a big fan of David's work since I began photography and I continue to find him inspiring.

As an affiliate, I can give my honest review of a book. If I don't like it, I will say so. If I do like it, I'm going to support it.

I actually wrote the "C&V community" post before I became an affiliate just because I thought it was a great learning center.

Enjoy your new books.

Thanks for that. I wish they would state the number of pages..from the small preview images I sort of assumed they were short 'tips' pdfs at less than 10 pages so to me they seem like a great value.
