This school always plays in a non-school league before the season starts. I photographed these at ISO 6400 (first time shooting this high) due to some lights being out and not allowed to use strobes.

1. - Easy glider!

I'm impressed that the ISO6400 yielded such IQ. What noise reduction method did you apply?

wow those are some nice ISO 6400 shots. i dont think my 7D gets them nearly that clean but im not very skilled at PP and NR

nice job on the set. i think a better angle would have helped get the players faces giving you a little better photos. you did capture some nice action ;)

Thanks Brian! As far as angles, I was restricted to the corners of the baseline. There was only about 2-3ft to the wall and the refs didn't want me behind the goal. Even when I sat on the floor, possibilty of getting the player and goal in the background was difficult. You have to remember that these are middle schoolers (13-14yrs old). Most, on this team anyway, can't get that high up to the goal.
