I have been looking at the Lowepro lens cases as accessories to my 600 AW II bag. The idea is that you put one lens in each custom-sized bag and clip it all together, creating endless possibilities for anally-obsessed camera bag freaks like me. Genius

But then I started to compare the external dimensions of my lenses to the internal dimensions of the lens cases recommended for each lens by Lowepro... and they don't appear to fit

Does anyone have hands-on experience of the following lens cases and do the fit the lenses they are claimed to fit, complete with lens hoods and tripod collars, as follows:

Lowepro Lens Case 11 x 14cm - Canon 24-70mm f/2.8L USM
Lowepro Lens Case 11 X 26cm - Canon 70-200mm f/2.8L IS USM (Mark I/II)
Lowepro Lens Case 13 X 32cm - Canon 300mm f/2.8L IS USM

He does reviews that tell which Lowepro cases fit what lenses, with or without their hoods.

I know off the top of my head that the 24-70 with fit with its hood in the 4S.

Thanks Mike, however the products I have listed have not been reviewed on that site. I might ping the site owner an email though, just in case he can assist.

I don't know about the other lenses, but the 70-200 is about the same size as my 100-400, and I recently looked at bags for it. I looked at the Lowepro #3 pouch, which is fine for the lens without a collar or hood.

However, the Lowepro S&F Lens Exchange Case 200 AW is the one I bought. It's exactly the same size as the #3, but because it's a rectangle instead of a cylinder, you can put in the lens with hood and collar and it fits exactly. Also, when changing lenses, it expands when open so you can insert the first lens and take out the 70-200, leaving the first lens in place in the pouch.

Lowepro lens case selection web page... http://products.lowepro.com/catalog/Lens-Cases,11.htm (external link)

In the Description it says:
Cases are named for the dimensions of lenses they fit. For example, the Lens Case 11 x 26cm fits a lens up to 11cm in diameter by 26cm in height

Selecting Specifications tab says:

Size(Interior):
4.3W X 4.3D X 10.2H in./
11 X 11 X 26 cm
Size(Exterior):
6.9W X 6.5D X 11.2H in./
17.5 X 16.5 X 28.5 cm
