back light ideas

just having hard time dealing with the tall stand for the flash i use right behind the model in studio... tired of cloning it out for every picture since the "legs" of the stand are totally visible

ideas on how to hang/hold/float the strobe behind the model

You need a boom. You can buy them for a reasonable price, or you can make your own if you have your own studio. I once used galanized pipe and fittings to make a bracket to mount a stationary hair light from my ceiling.
