Hi guys,

Bought myself a ColorPassport Checker today and came across this xrite colour IQ test (external link)when looking for some tutorials on how to properly install and use it.
When I did it first time I scored 82 then second time with much more care and time I scored 32. My wife did it in like 5 minutes and she scored 15 straight away. Guess I must be colour blind (hence all my post crying out loud for help when calibrating my monitor:):):) )

Could be fun doing it. Care to share your score?

I worked in print media for 30 years. Once they passed the colour blind test then employees were given this test. It was a physical one with painted blocks they moved around.

I was in the 150s.

Yeah, I know I'm color blind.

Heh! You're color blind and subjected yourself to a color test? That's pretty dang whacky, but funny:)!

It has been a long time since I did this but I hit a 19. I wonder if reading glasses make a difference. I am noticing that my prescription is not what it used to be and I was just about to schedule an eye exam. There are very subtle hue changes. Using any excuse I can think of

Perfect color vision! I am actually pretty surprised, I always thought I was a bit color blind. I also got annoyed by the third row and started rushing through it.

I remember doing this a while ago. I got a 4 twice, with mistakes in two different spectral regions depending on the color temperature of the room lighting. (red under heavy tungsten, cyan under cold fluorescent, alas my lighting sucks here)

I acquired an expensive camera so I can hang out in forums, annoy wedding photographers during formals and look down on P&S users... all the while telling people it's the photographer, not the camera.
