What does this have to do with photography? Apparently, he was for being involved in a cheating scandal.

The guy's a tad bit more noteworthy than just a "freelance photographer"

Misrepresentation is cause for revocation just about everywhere. Every credential and hard card I've ever received requited showing ID to get it and they've all said "Not Transferable" which means the person named has to be the person wearing it. Beyond all the T Pryor issues, he used a false name.

Maybe this should be in another thread, but I want to understand something. I read the article in the link and while I don't really have an opinion on the issue of this freelance photographer something else struck me.

"Michigan does not credential photographers for the season, instead going on a game-by-game basis, a policy instituted two years ago. The school also does not credential photography services beyond Getty Images and US Presswire, which have licensing relationships with the school, according to Ablauf."

So is the article stating that public funded universities have restrictive licensing agreements with these photography agencies? So other agencies or freelancers have no access to shot? On the surface that seems wrong and unethical.

Why would you think that? It's my understanding that schools often license the school logo, etc., to manufacturers. I imagine these go to the "highest bidder," not to everyone who comes along.

Some Canon stuff and a little bit of Yongnuo.
