In ACR you can select the images and then choose Tools/Photoshop/Load Files into Photoshop Layers. Then you can move them around as the video shows.
Convert the image layers to smart objects, save as a psd, and the next time you want to use that same layout all you have to do is open the psd, right-click on one of the smart objects, replace contents, and choose the image you want in there. No use in doing all the moving, etc. again. It works really well if the images are in the same aspect and size. If not, a quick transform works.
Another easy way to do custom print packages. Create a new document for the size desired. File/Place and setup how you want. Duplicate layer. Move the duplicate layer into position and size desired. Duplicate as many times as you want, moving and resizing into position desired. Save as a psd. When you're ready for another package, open the psd, right click on any of the smart objects, replace contents, choose new file and double click, and it will update each layer with the new image.
