It took me a while to work out the first picture. It has lovely bokeh but perhaps a little more DOF will allow the photo to do more story-telling.

I like 1. That's pretty cool. The spots on the right are a smidge distracting though.
2 and 3 have a lot that is oof and just a tiny bit that is in focus. on 2 I can't help wish that the sign was in focus. That coconut right above DE is what my eye goes to first and is frustrating that its oof.
3 would make for a stronger composition if you were closer to your subject with not so much oof in foreground and bg. besides the coconut in focus, there is a bit of tree, to right and below,that is as well which is slightly confusing. Did you add the blur pp, that just looks off to me.
If you really want to keep all that other stuff oof in frame I would consider upping the clarity and details of that coconut may help.

Not enough color
Not enough drama to carry black and white
Too centered
DOF too shallow
Seems a bit soft in the eyes and it has to be sharp in the eyes
