Does anyone know if Really Right Stuff makes a lens plate for the 70-300 f/4-5.6 L IS Lens? I looked on their site but can't seem to find one.

Thanks

Does the lens have a tripod mounting ring? It's not listed as one of the accessories on Canon USA's page for that. If it does, the L84's a pretty generic one for Canon feet.

That lens doesnt have a tripod ring mount yet, so no, at this point there is no kind of lens plate from RRS for it.

It looks like the tripod ring just has not been released yet. ->CLICK (external link)<-

Oops, I looked up the wrong lens. I left off the L on the end... Yea that makes a big difference. That being the case, from the looks of the coming tripod ring mount, it looks like the ever universal RRS L84 plate should work just fine.
