^^^superb, if i could only find these in the city. :)

Come to La Crosse. They sit in the trees in the park right downtown. You can walk on the sidewalk right under them. Check out my Flash Gallery in my footer.

QUOTED IMAGE

Tamron 90 at F2.8

See? I told you it was good. Enjoy it, mate, it only gets better. I was shooting exclusively with mine over the weekend in a National Trust garden and I still think it's a great lens for the price I paid. Just less than £150 on eBay and that included extension tubes, a ring flash (not compatible with my DSLR unfortunately) and another EOS500N body (I now seem to have 3!).
The problem I had was really slow AF, then I realised it was on AF at the switch but on M on the push pull - DOH!

It is like entering new world with another dimension. I never shot macro before today.
I paid little bit more for my copy to be able to get six years Canadian warranty.
My next purchasing is extension tubes for sure.

Out of curiosity, if you were to upgrade your T1i, what would it be? T4i? Maybe 70D? (assuming they come out this year).

It is good camera the only bad thing is video parameters. My 500d has 60K clicks on it.
If it dies, I'll try to get used 7d or new Olympus because they have good video as well. I could also upgrade my 5D to mkII and keep it as one camera only.

...i like the camera, it fits comfortably in my hands(grip attached), any camera body, with great lighting, will produce amazing photos. i've had this camera for almost three years, I do not know what the upgrade is from this body to your t3, but I am sure it's just as capable as your camera.
