I would only "upgrade"to a full frame.

That's a bit shortsighted. There are perfectly valid reasons for "upgrading" to a lower level than FF. For me it was the ergonomics of the 60D that made it a very nice upgrade from the T1i. A slightly bigger body and much more user friendly controls have made a big difference. The articulated LCD, off camera flash control, and better video capabilities are also definite pluses. There are numerous other features which I consider upgrades which give the user more options.

And price was a huge consideration. ;)

But.... to each his own.

I got one coming up this weekend. I finally ordered a flash last night. Yongnuo 465 and the RF 603. Gonna try my hand at some flash photography. I ordered cheap just in case I don't like using OCF. But,hopefully it'll work out. Do you use OCF at all?

Thank you, Dennis!

Whoty, I'm not using my YN remote anymore. It is the same with external flashes as slaves and 500D flash set to minimum to fire them. Give it a try without remote, you'll be surprised how much faster and easier it is.

to each his own yes
all I want a body to do is to take the image and write fairly quickly.
