Query: Do you have any thoughts to offer on choosing between teleconverters Canon has made? Should I avoid the generation 1 TCs? Are the II's ok substitute for going with IIIs? Any comments welcome. Love the surfing shots. Sincerely ZeissFan ^^ I would suggest the 2xII (2nd gen) instead of the 1st. I sold mine and never looked back. With regards to the 2xIII (3rd gen) I have a friend that work for a local camera store and we both tried but didn't noticed any difference in the IQ. Would've been cool if his manager ok'd for a real test down the beach but no luck just in store test. Anyways, I'm quite happy with the results of the 2xII which lately been using a lot more than the 1.4xII. Goodluck in making your decision. Follow me --> https://www.instagram.com/shutterpat/

Crappy cell phone pics: ![]() ![]() ![]() You get what you pay for. I also found one in really good condition, and for a really good price, but I later found out from the seller that the shutter didn't have that much more to go before reaching 200,000 so I nixed the deal. It's not even guaranteed that it will reach 200,000. Of course, it could go much further, as I have no evidence, anecdotal or otherwise how long the shutter lasts on these cameras. I know I had a 20d go dead on me after maybe 40k actuations.

Plus I know it can take the hard knocks in its stride in situations like these, political demos suchlike. I am seriously considering picking up a 1D Mk2n Use Canon 10D, 40D, 1D Mk1, 2 & Mk4 plus a 1Ds and 5D Mk2. Canon lenses (fav 24-105 f4L). Nikon D2HS and Fuji X Pro 1 & 2. Love um all
