Now that hockey season is here all I shoot mine is at 1600 ISO I used to do some noise reduction to the files but I really didn't like the way it looked so now I just keep them the way they are.

Straight out of the camera, nothing but cropping. This camera still rocks. If you don't need very high ISO, this is a fantastic cheaper option.

i disagree with this. Coming from a 7D ISO 1600 and 3200 are cleaner after Noise reduction. This is because of the lower pixel density.

3200, maybe. 1600, absolutely not. It's also a little bit apples and oranges since you're comparing an APS-C and APS-H. The IIN is a professional camera and while the 7D is a VERY nice camera, it's not a pro camera. For 1600 and below I'll take the IIN. I've got a Mark IV for anything over that LOL.
