First time visitor to the pond. Male and female mallard were on the bank and this wood duck just would not go in or near the water. Hung around the female mallard the whole time. Think he was in love

my 2 canon batteries die quickly after charging
I have even done the refresh cycle
any thoughts on replacements
canon wants 170 errrrr NO
and does mAh make a difference

I used inexpensive third party batteries from Amazon, $24 a pop. Charge fine. Hold charges fine.

I nust bought 3rd party also and it is very good got it for less then 25 bucks. I think the brand name is dste or dtse on Amazon.

i dont have the !d anynore.
But i payed for a new batterie 19 euro. with 2 year warranty.
i did need the warrenty after more then 1 year, and i did get a new one.
It was a cellonic 1650mAh , and its now 32 euro's ????????

really??? might have to look into those.

thats my biggest complaint with my 1D2N, every time i want to spontaneously go out and take pics, my batteries are dead because my camera has been sitting there... :oops:

thats with a brand new canon battery i picked up 2 years ago too!

would be nice if they made a battery with something like the eneloops inside.
