Just a quick question, turns out this camera has 210,000 actuations on the shutter. Still get parts to replace this? Parts are relatively inexpensive (except for the sensor), and Canon still services the Mk IIn. Canon stopped servicing the Mk II last year but there are still camera shops out there that will work on them. _______________

Sad to have to use those words to describe such a fine piece of engineering, but truthfully, at sub-$400, it's really the truth. I recently bought a third one....so I have these three working examples ( plus a 1DS full frame ), and will simply use them up one by one. As they die off, I'll just set them on the shelf as a paperweight. My hope is that by the time these three ( four ) die off....a 1DX will be inexpensive, so I can grab one of them as a bargain ! Technology marches on. regards, george w
