I "ordered" a second reader a while back. One stays in the camera bag, the other stays in the laptop bag. I have threepointfivepercentaphobia.

Me too. What happens is after a tournament, the parents review the images and then decide to by a tournament DVD of all of their kids images. So, they call me and I take their order over the phone.

You can order a Square reader, then buy a second at Best Buy and be immediately reimbursed online. But you only get two free readers. But at $10 bucks, I bought a third anyway because I'm that way about backups.

Are you sure about the two reader limit? I just submitted a request for a third and it didn't stop me. Did they contact you or something?

Did you lose Digital Photo Professional (DPP)? Get it here (external link). Cursing at your worse-than-a-map reflector? Check out this vid! (external link)

Stopped me. Maybe there is a time requirement.

Did you try to do them in one sitting? I got the first one almost exactly a year ago and the second one I think two months ago. The third one I requested a few minutes before posting about it.

Square just sent out an email saying they're not holding back anything each week. This mean, you charge it, you get paid right away no matter how much. This is great news for us Square users.

I didn't see that email. Did they specify swiped versus non-swiped charges? I know they had already removed the cap from swiped charges.

The site asks how you will use square, but I don't see photography as an option. Did you'll select Professional Services?

Thanks

Good catch. It saws swiped:

"Starting immediately, businesses that swipe credit cards with Square will have all their funds sent to their bank for deposit the next day. In the past, if a business processed over $1,000 in payments with Square in a given week, those funds were briefly held prior to being sent for deposit. Now, we’ve removed that delay.

Why the change?

We’re constantly looking for ways to make using Square even better. One thing we’ve heard from merchants is that quick access to funds is critical.

Our goal is to help you grow your business. We hope you’ll take advantage of the new policy and continue to give us feedback on how we can improve Square for you and your customers.

Sincerely,

The Square Team"

My third reader arrived today, for what it's worth.
