First Shot at Focus Stacking!

I love the idea of a bike with a chair. Can't deal with those crotch hatchets.

I just had the camera on the tripod and used MF to twiddle the focus. No fancy stuff!

Hey folks, I'm about to head out the door and I don't know when I'll be back, but I've seen people who have used the CS5 Stacking script who say they have had good results.

Since I don't have CS5, I'm curious as to whether it has "stepped up" since CS3, and what results are people seeing? For one thing, does the "Focus Stacking" option actually do something? Do you get masks with this applied? If so, that would be nice!

As it is, with my CS3, as I have said the Bridge Photoshop->Photomerge tool gives me a good "starting point", but the pre-masking is for exposure blending rather than focus blending, so the "work" on that is up to me...

So, I know that Mitch had unsatisfactory results, but I believe Chauncey may have some input and maybe Lester Wareham (if he sees this) might have some input and, well, anyone!...?
