Hey; when I had CS4 and Bridge on my PC, when I would double click on an image in Bridge it would open it in ACR first, then I'd choose to open it in CS4. Now I have CS5 and Bridge om an iMac and suddenly when I select an image in Bridge, it opens it in Portrait Professional! huh? I didn't change anything, but I still install the Mac version of PP..how can I change the default in Bridge back to opening images in ACR?

In preferences > general > Behavior, check Double click edit camera Raw settings in bridge.
And then also Check the File Type Associations in preferences.
And in Camara Raw Preferences if you want to open Tiffs and jpegs into ACR before proceeding to CS5 you can make that choice too.

tim, I did the first step. But on the second, when i looked at what the Finder Settings were for the File Type Associations of .cr2 files, it showed the Portrait Professional. I clicked Browse to try to find ACR but couldn't find it.

ACR is nested in CS5 and Bridge. Point your file association at the CS5 exectuable.

ACR is just a plugin (gateway) to CS5. You will also need to make sure you have your preferences set up accordingly.
Preferences > File handling > File Compatibility - make sure "Prefer Adobe Camera Raw for Supported Files" is checked.

And then if you want Jpegs and tiffs to open in ACR first instead of directly into PS, you need to open Camera Raw Preferences and set the JPEG and Tiff Handling to Automatically open all supported JPEGs and Tiffs.
