IIRC, there are some live camera feeds in the Smokies. You might want to Google this. I think there was one at Look Rock on the foothills Parkway. Probably are more.

You should be be ok, maybe not in the very peak but still alot of color. Unforunatly I wasted the first few days with a front focusing lens before I realized it. Note the pic below just isnt as sharp as it should be. 7DMKII, 7D, Sig 150-600 Sport, 400 5.6L, 70-200 F4L, Sigma 17-70, 50 1.8, Kenco 1.4, Canon 430 EX, Calumet Genesis Monolights and Speedotron Brownline Strobe kit and a growing wish list
