Picked up a Sigma 10-20 for some automotive stuff and thought I'd take a crack at landscapes. This is my first attempt ever. I know its a little uneven, I was in a hurry tonight. No Filters, this is 3 exposures stacked and masked.

Location, was just the greenway behind my apartment in Kansas City

C&C is welcome, don't be to harsh. I know you guys post some amazing stuff in here :/

looks like you got a nice lens to get yourself some good landscape shots! keep practicing. I'll keep it to one tip and say: the horizon line should only be in the middle IF you have a reason for it. Usually for me it is just reflections I find that work at the horizon. Good colors though and a very nice HDR as it is not over-done and more believable (just my preference in HDR's).

Thank you for the tip! I really appreciate it. I had always heard try to keep the the horizon level but never knew not to put it at the mid line. So would it be best to keep in in the lower third?

I'm editing one I took tonight from the old quarry while I did an automotive shoot. I might post it in here as well.

Second one, not much different composition/location wise than the first. I need to travel more! haha
