Well first thanks to all contributors for showing your versions of Colorful Foliage!
They were all good photos! :)

However I do have to pick the best to my eyes so here we go:

3rd place goes to "The Fallen" by Jason C
Nice color and I love the selective light.

2nd place goes to "after the rain" by kbColorado
A beautiful photo, I love the light through the drops.

1st place goes to "Colorful Foliage" by airfrogusmc
With a collection of warm colors with a public looking setting, mixed just right.

I now pass the Challenge to airfrogusmc

Congratulations to airfrogusmc - a beautiful shot!

I think the date was a little early for most of us, even in the Great White North, to get shots of this year's Fall colours, so it was an interesting challenge looking for suitable foliage.

Incidentally, I note that these DSLR speed challenges suffer from "weekday creep" rather than ending on the same weekday each time.

Would it not be better to have them always end, for example, on Mondays at 12 noon GMT, as the G-series challenges have done for years?

Congrats Allen!! Kudos to kbColorado & Jason as well.

Some nice interpretations this week -- jetcodes was my favorite, but all are nice.

Sometimes it takes the winner a day or two to post a new challenge - this then limits the challenge from a week to something less... I think the current format is ideal.
