Hello,
I have a Canon G6 and have been using the SANDISK Extreme III / 2.0 GB / ESP/ 20 MB P/sec Sequential read and write.

I think that the speed of the card will not make my picture taking any faster, but only to increase the read/Write speeds, to and from the camera, computer, or card reader.

I have been seeing some cards..like this one >

The Lexar Professional 400x CompactFlash® (CF) card provides reliable, professional-level high-speed performance, with a minimum guaranteed sustained ... with 400X

'professional-level high-speed performance' High speed WHAT?

Does it really make a difference on whether I use the above card for taking action hi-res video, even though I only max the time at 30 secs? I only wish this camera could capture more than Hires videos for more than 30 secs. Low and medium RES looks terrible, to me anyway.

Another query I have is when I buy a new HD Camcorder, whether it be a Canon,Panasonic,JVC, or Sony, Do I have to buy a certain Compact Flash HC, or SD HC speed for video enhancement, or again, it only means transfer rate speed to puter, card reader, etc.? Thank you!
