Shame you have that fury(?) in the background. The bright white on the wing blends in with the white background on the forum, so the landing gear door looks like a different pic almost. Maybe try cropping through the middle of the wing? I dunno, its an interesting idea at least, just engine and canopy - like a race plane should be The Shinny

Sep 25, 2011 17:33 | #10 I met him about 12 years ago on a layover at SNA, we went out to Chino and he had just landed a P-51 which we followed back to the museum area. He gave us a brief tour of the shop area where they were working on rebuilding an F4U Corsair. Charismatic, friendly, just a really cool person to take the time to let a couple of airline pilots to look around like that. One of those memories you will always remember.
