It's your album. Which version relates best what you wanted the picture to show?

Personally, I like the more high contrast color one. The details in the cliffs on the left site seem a little fuzzy to my eye. Maybe it's my eye. :). If it were my shot, I would be sorely tempted to clone out the vehicle(?) in the bottom right corner and the people on the rock.

What is the blue blob on the lower right?

1D-III with stuff to stick on it:
70-200L, 28-70L, 24-105L, 300L, 50, 10-17 fish, 2.0x TC
Image editing OK, encouraged, and expected. Thank you for helping me learn!

You forgot to write the critique part of your post .

There are three of these in the image and two orange bridge like features.

That aside, I do like #1 and #2, though would like aspects of the two combined. I'd like to see a consistently exposed and straight horizon. The detail in the cliff face is just great.

OK, now you've got me playing Where's Waldo for the blue orbs. I can't find the other two.

I find the orbs distracting because I don't know what they are. I keep trying to figure it out.

Overall, I prefer the B&W best. It brings out the patterns in the cliff and intrigues me. This is one scene that I find the colors distracting.

Where is this? I'm guessing it's not close to me in Ohio...

just an online album for friends to look at. the black and white would likely be the only black and white, but I do like the way it looks, so I'm not adverse to putting it on there.

thank you. I did straighten the picture. may have needed one more, but I think it may be deceiving because of the way the horizon fades a bit to the right. not positive, though.
