Just curious to bsee if anyone has changed out their focusing screens. On my 5d mkii I switched it out with the manual focusing screen, but haven't really seen anyone doing this with the 1 series.

I have several mf lenses and this gives me a quick and reasonably accurate gauge if live view is inconvenient. It's also useful for checking focus when using AF lenses. You must have the diopter correction dialed in accurately for this to work. Several cameras and more glass than I will admit to.
