My first attempt at star stacking. 4 12800 ISO, 10 6400 ISO, and 10 1600 ISO, all of four seconds each stacked using DSS. Shot with my 50mm 1.8 wide open. I am going to go back out tonight and see if I can get more with my 250mm kit lens. Any suggestions? I know its not spectacular.

Doesn't look like your image made it. Make sure the image posting guidelines are followed or it won't show up.

It's there! Not bad for the first attempt. Much better than mine!

I would lower the iso down a little. With my 50 f1.8, my settings was f2.8, iso varied between 3200 and 800, the max exposure was 10seconds and that was really pushing it. Awesome 1st go at it though, impressive, it took my a while just to dial her in on the screen for me lol. Don't forget to take some pics of the orion nebula too. Here is some of my examples.
