I came across this steam engine that was parked on a siding and there was no crew in sight.

I was wondering if I could figure out how to drive this thing and then the engineer came along and drove off with it.

Thanks everyone. I still have the dents in my elbows from laying down in that gravel. :)
These little trains are amazing! They are almost perfect down to the last detail. This one burns propane but the train that his young son drives burns coal.

Fooled me too! I was trying to figure out what loco that was, since I'd seen T&P (?) 611 many years ago. Hard to keep them all straight. Awful clean looking I thought... Nice shots. Getting down does a lot. I would have taken it home too, and taken real good care of it if I ever saaw it abandoned like that. ;)

Suckered me too. I'll Bet there are some bid dollars invested there and my wife thinks photography is expensive.
