Pikas - relatives of rabbits and hares - at Yolyn Am, an ice-filled canyon in Mongolia.

Both shots taken with 7D and 100-400L.

I think they are the CUTEST little brown ball in this world! They kept a distance from me, even at 500mm they were still small in the frame. Yours seem less shy. Nice captures.

They kept their distance alright - just that there were so many of them that some of them had to come close, and that I was prepared to climb high onto rocks to hunt them down! Even so, I had to crop significantly.
