any who...back to the straps... is there a sling type strap that doesn't take the tripod mount up or maybe uses the mount but also has a threaded hole to attach a QR plate?

I use an Op/Tech sling strap. It uses lanyards. Luma Loop also uses lanyard but with better materials.

the buckle kinda sketches me out... I have an Op/tech strap with the buckle snaps that's really comfortable but i dont want one to give out due to the weight of the 1D3 24-70 or 70-200 and 580exII..... it worries me, i have no problem using it on my 50D just the 1D3 im a bit more cautious tho ive been using every now and then i feel i have to keep a hand on the camera to put my mind at ease

And pick up some Pearl Izumi or Louis Garneau bibs...

And a Garmin Edge 500...

And maybe some new shoes...

Oh and I need to get some running shoes too, so I can start running.

I need a new job... :/

I just googled it since i cant see the video. Interesting concept but i hate weight on my hips like that. I rather just have it off my shoulders.

I hate it on my shoulders..... I think it would pair nicely with a hand strap.... I pretty much hate extra weigh any time so if i can choose where to put it the hip would be a winner and there is a place for a tripod QR plate!!!!

So maybe I should get myself an iPhone 4s? I know what Omar will say, lol.

Siri is a cool feature.

My hip already deals with the weight of my third leg. No need to add more there
