You have three carriers now to choose from: ATT, Sprint or Verizon. I like Sprint's Unlimited plan for $80, but I don't know how their network and customer service are today (used to have Sprint long ago, was fine back then). I'm currently with Verizon, not on a contract. MOkoFOko wrote in post #13205029 I hope they rename their network "Glados" +1 YES! You're basically going with traffic at those speeds. Dangerous as hell. Yeah... and scary on a MTB because of the terrain, and scary on a road bike because of small rocks and pebbles and the fact that you are on 23mm wide tires. Generally with cycling the 10% rule is considered pretty effective. Increase what you're riding 10% each week and build up that way. At the beginning you can make some longer jumps, but I honestly wouldn't even try something longer than 50 miles.
