I like Sprint's Unlimited plan for $80, but I don't know how their network and customer service are today (used to have Sprint long ago, was fine back then). I'm currently with Verizon, not on a contract.

Since iPhone 4S is a world phone that supports GSM, CDMA, UMTS, HSDPA, does that mean it's ONE same phone that all three carriers will have, instead of how Verizon and ATT have different versions of the iPhone 4 (one GSM only, the other CDMA only)? Does it have a Sim card slot for GSM? Would I be able to buy a Sim card from a foreign carrier when I am traveling overseas to use my phone there? I'm not too sure how global phones work exactly.

+1 YES!

Everything is lining up as planned!

That is badass!

The catch with the iphone is that it uses a mini sim card. At first they were tough to find but as the iphone 4 was released last year they have become easier to find. Especially abroad. I saw them in the bahamas last week. So yes its a world phone and apple went with the one phone design to make it easier to offer it to multiple carriers with different networks. The iphone will auto detect the provider and switch accordingly. It will do that abroad as well.

Omar! How did your game go? And while you're here, you can watch this now. :)

Nice! Thanks for the reminder.

We got destroyed :( We have 4 new players who havent played in years so the integration process will take a long time. The 3 game set went like this:

Game one: 6 - 15
Game two: 5 - 15
Game three: 12 - 15

We improved in game three but to me that was just the other team slacking off since they had wrapped up the first two games already. Much work for us to improve.

Whoa Alex! Great work man!!! I like the dual box video. Having done videos i know its not easy to time the beat of the song to the video themselves and you did a good job. It was very entertaining. I saw you got confused twice with focusing during video recording. Dont worry happens to me all the time  Ill pull back when i want to pull the focus forward  You used premier right? I have the last version of final cut pro before they dumbed it down. Might try out premier.

Almost as mind-blowingly eye-blinding as some of Steven's worst offenders!

But in a way, I like this. It's addictively saturated. :)

ya i brought down the saturation about 50% to:shock: i don't think you would want to see the original :lol:

What Alex said. It works in a funny way. I would print that on metallic. It would look great. Usually over cooked looks terrible but here it does the trick. Very rare!

I see its not common to you guys? here we always buy phones without plans... so a lott of our phones are open line which means we can insert any sim and it can detect the network. although the iphone I have rightt now is sim lockked to my carrierif I get it hacked or jailbreak I could use any sim I want. of coursee as long as its a microsim

Basically it allows for global roaming, I take it.

I was wondering if I could purchase a sim card and pre-loaded minutes from a carrier abroad and load that into the iPhone 4S, if this turned out to be a less expensive option than getting charged roaming fee from ATT/Verizon/Sprint.

I also know you can purchase a world plan for a certain amount of time from the local carriers here for when you travel.

Thanks Omar!

I could not actually preview the frames where I put two clips side by side because my CPU can't handle the load! It previews in an extremely laggy fashion inside Premiere. I basically had to time it in my head, and export many times as I was working to watch and see if it turned out well.

I'm happy with the cuts for the most part, but the part at the end with the quick frames that are obviously supposed to be timed with the music are slightly off. I had to release it as it was, but I'm going to fix it later. I also need to change the group's name in the video, as they made a last-minute change from "Indie Made" to "ND Made", which is why the description on the Vimeo page differs from the titles in the video.

Oh, and yes, I always fail at least once per shoot to pull the focus the correct way, haha. You'd think I have muscle memory by now to know which way to turn the focus ring to focus farther or closer, but no. :o

Ive never used my international plan options abroad. Usually i just buy a $20 sim card. Plop it in and im good to go since the times i would actually call are so small. But you could add an international plan for the time your away as carriers will accommodate that.

So you can actually open up the iPhone and plop in a sim card (i.e. change out the original one)? I just wasn't sure, because I didn't know that there is any opening to do so.
