Seems unclear to me...

Not sure why--the phones themselves are compatible with all GSM and cdma frequencies (apparently), but Sprint and Verizon themselves are CDMA-only networks.

You specifically asked if Sprint and Verizon used SIM cards--they do not. The technology is so different from GSM antenna tech. They're so invested in the standard that Verizon and Sprint simply can't afford to switch.

It goes on the permanent record. And you still have to make up any missed days over a certain limit, which suspension counts towards. It's not simply a paid vacation. Colleges and Universities don't look kindly on suspensions and expulsions.

Lol, I was suspended and I didn't make up any days and still got into good schools like UCLA, just sayin :p

Will, the 4S will have a sim card slot. However, you wouldn't be using it if you are on Sprint or Verizon since they use CDMA. The sim card slot is there for GSM carriers. Like I said earlier, it is now a world phone. You no longer have one GSM version (ATT) and one CDMA version (Verizon) as they did for the iPhone 4. There will be just one iPhone 4S.

Not sure why what? The reason my parents need a phone with sim card is they travel and want to use the same phone. Hence two possible situations.

1. Sprint and Verizon versions of iPhone 4S have a sim card slot that is just empty cause Sprint and Verizon don't use them, and thus when you travel you can use it.

2. Sprint and Verizon versions of iPhone 4S, although capable of GSM, don't have a sim card slot and are just retarded.

Some schools have around 9 days per term a kid can be absent from school without making up days. Unless you were absent that many days or suspended beyond that, you wouldn't make it up.

I want to believe this, I just don't see anywhere official from Apple where this is written. Nor are there photos to confirm.
