You're going to use a 1ds3 for sports... Why not consider the APS-H 1d3 for around $2k? The 1ds3 isn't exactly a burst shooting machine.

I dont think you should over look the 1D line yes the 1Ds is FF but for sports canon made the 1D cameras for professional portrait and wedding photogs they made the 1Ds line
