Pretty much. I honestly am not using the 24-70 as much as I used to. The lens is great but, it's sitting collecting dust. Might as well wait for the imaginary 24-70 MK II with IS.

i hope it sells soon for you,i think i'm going to run the 40d and start collecting lens, i need to quit switch bodies and get a good range of lens.

the 40D is great I loved mine more so then my 50D then again I didnt own a 1d when i had my 40D so that may be the reason why i dont care about the 50D
