im just not sure what i want to buy yet. I'm 21 pages into the classified with nothing really jumping out except a TON of L lenses

Go for the 17-50. It will give you a great catch all focal length. You have the 50 1.8 for low light shooting. So that can get you through most shooting situations :D

Whats up Farlet! Palmer to the Raiders. 1 first round pick next year and a conditional first rounder the following year? A bit much for a guy past his prime.

Raiders are more desperate than I thought.  Same mistake as Collins with the Colts perhaps?

very tempted to see if he'll take a 40d with a 50mm 1.8 and 300 cash for this even though it says no trades

But then you wont have a lens! Odds are he might not since he replaced the 60D with a 7D.

Yeah, I doubt he would take any trades other than a lens he wants.

Finally got around to checking the NFL Power Rankings on ESPN this week.

Here's the quote for the Packers.

Things are so good for the Packers that they are disappointed by not expanding 21-point leads in second halves. (Clayton)

It's so true. I was just keeping an eye on the score since it wasn't on TV here, I monitored the first half and then had to head to church. When I came out and saw they only won by 21 I was rather disappointed.

Yep... I've noticed that too. But the stuff moves, so clearly their price points are working.

It really is because they are anal about the quality of their stuff. So the price is a little higher basically due to peace of mind.

Thats built for crop bodies. It is basically the crop worlds 24-105. It seems to be a stellar lens if you want a do all. I have no experience with it though.
