A whole heartedly agree, Tony. If it were a $5k camera, I would have seriously thought about upgrading to it. Not right now anymore!

You know, I bought the 1D3 and some very good lenses, spendy stuff, but it was the gear I needed to get the shots in the scenarios I was shooting, so I bit the bullet.

I did love the thought of having a 1Ds3 because it certainly would have been great for my landscape/scenic photography and whatnot, but I was happy settling with my 5D Classic for such stuff. And, four years later, I'm still happy with my 5DC!

There are no bills, you pay taxes, and x pence out of each £1 paid in taxes goes to the National Health Service.

But you can go to the doctor/hospital and not worry about bills.

Some people in the US will whine saying "but look at how long you have to wait to be seen in the UK". It isn't too different in the US right now.

But think of how many people in the US (a) cannot afford to go to the dr/hptl, (b) would be too afraid to go for fear of the bills, and (c) don't have insurance.

If the US had the NHS, how many hospitals and clinics would be inundated by people suddenly needing treatment?

I'd rather pay taxes and be worry free, and not look for clinics to make a profit, insurance scamming scum to profiteer and pharmaceuticals profiteering on top of that :D

Harm, I don't want to go toward a political discussion, I'll just say it's very interesting hearing a positive comment on those NHSs since so many people here are quite outspoken about their disdain for such institutions...
