Again. Tech geeks. There are plenty of reviews, individual tests, graphs drawn up, with HARD data. This isn't just "I feel it's good" kind of testimony.

This is the standard site most people reference, but there's plenty more out there:

Dunno where the "feel cheap" is coming from. I think they are pricey but affordable. Is it the Sanyo name?

I don't know what cave Baans been living in:) Nothing cheap about eneloop-branded batteries (except the black-top rebrands). Doesn't matter where you go, they cost more than your rechargeable energizers/duracells.

Sanyo is a japanese company, and their eneloops are made in Japan. Companies like Energizer get their cells from companies in China (Duracell used to rebrand eneloops and shifted mainly to Chinese manufacturers). Do you trust batteries made in China over Japan?

The Baan Cave?

Yeah there were Duraloops. White tops Duracell rechargeable that have made in Japan in the labels. The black tops were made in China and not as good.

To be fair, the blacktops get pretty good reviews--but they are shown to be inferior to the eneloops. When they started phasing out the eneloop rebrands (which were costing Duracell much more), there was a rush on those. That's when I got my hoard of batteries. Good stuff. I've yet to have one go bad. Can't say the same for my other branded rechargeables.

Depends on the "model" I suppose. There are more than a few lines of energizer batteries.
