One of the events I managed to attend recently. It took place at the old Estoril Circuit, near Lisbon.

Sunny day, lot's of interesting cars and...just a few spectators!!
(I really don't understand motorsport enthusiasts in my home country...)

Great captures. 1,3,4,5 real nice. I know what you mean by not enough people attending mortorsport racing in Portugal. I was there in Aug last year on vacation and managed to miss all racing but made the pilgramage to Circuito Algarve. No racing but still had to see the circuit. The money you pay for a Petit Lemans event in Portugal is way lower than what you pay here for an ALMS event, yet you watch the race on TV from Portugal and the grandsatnds are empty. Hope you put more of your images from any raacing events you attend in Portugal. Um abraco.

Thanks for your words!

I don't want to keep saying that soccer is "king above all" sports in this country (although it is absolutely undeniable!), but when you have free access to an event where you can watch a group of interesting cars like these, especially when the track is located at the nation's largest city, and you still see empty stands, it is quite disappointing.

But, hey, let’s look at the bright side of it: I was able to choose every photo spot I wanted in any of the stands…!:D

Next October, I’ll attend the Portimão Circuit for the Algarve Historic Festival. I’m afraid the scenario won’t be different from Estoril!

P.S.: “Quaresma” seems to be a Portuguese name. Am I right?

Thanks, Daniel!

Here's another GT40 that raced the same day.
