Went to the local park with my wife and child. there is a tree there which changes colors and sheds its leaves for fall, but for the most part, it was to early. still managed a couple of fun decent shots. tried to use some of the light coming through the trees as hair light/back light. Let me know what you think.

no reflector or flash. all just natural light, around 5 pm, shot between 2.9 and 3.5, and I think all at 200mm

Very Nice!

The more I see from the 70-200 MkII, the more I consider it to be the "Keg Killer"

First zoom that truly competes with the primes it covers in its range.

thank you Jay, and Tim. Jay, I know what you mean. Even though I love my 85 1.2, there is a sequence of her running towards me that I took, which the Keg would have struggled with. the focus is so much snappier on the 70-200, and color and contrast and sharpness are just fantastic wide open. The dof on a full frame at 2.8 is pretty shallow already. however the keg is still nice in low light indoors, at 1.2, at 1/60 sec, when not much else would do.

Wow Kevindar!! whatcha feedin' your daughter.....its it amazing how quickly they grow???

Cherish those photos!!! My wife never complains as my gear grows :P People may say gear doesn't make a photographer but I will say the 70-200 without a doubt a fantastic tool in capturing beautiful moments.

thanks for sharing...as usual!
